connect with nature this weekend...

Boating means many different things to many people. It can be about being out in the community, making new friends, relaxing and taking it easy. It allows us to connect to something bigger than ourselves. The holiday weekend is a wonderful time for boating. Fires, floods and a pandemic have however made this an extraordinary challenging time over the last few years. The rules around permissible activities are constantly changing so if you are unclear of your on-water legal and best practice boating responsibilities please check with your local relevant authority.

To discover boating does not mean you have to travel far from home or burn a bucket load of cash on fuel. Personal watercraft continue to outstrip all types of power craft in sales figures across Australia. This is due to them being often family budget friendly, compact, easy to store, easy to tow and launch and the fact that they can be great fun. With an extensive coastal shoreline and many kilometres of rivers and estuaries, South Australia offers an abundance of places to discover boating and opportunity to make some family memories that can be forever cherished.
