Taiwan-based SEETEL New Energy is pioneering mobile fast-charging solutions across Asia Pacific by selecting Volvo Penta’s high-performance battery systems for energy storage. Designed for industrial and urban applications, this collaboration marks Volvo Penta’s expanding role in the region’s clean energy transition.
By integrating Volvo Penta’s liquid-cooled, energy-dense battery systems into its mobile platforms, SEETEL New Energy is developing battery energy storage systems (BESS) in 270kWh and 540kWh configurations. These units will be mounted on light trucks or containerized platforms to deliver mobile charging for construction, mining, emergency relief, and roadside EV support.
